How do I use VR Training Experiences?

These two videos will be helpful with guiding you through how to use the VR equipment to engage with the experience.

What to Expect in the Box

In the travel case, I have put together everything you need to effectively integrate this VR Training Experience to the Maritime Security for Pilots course.It was designed to be intuitive, flexible, and easy to use for any technology skill level.

Travel Case

This waterproof case will protect the equipment, making it easy to transport

Travel Case

The travel case has wheels and an extendable handle, similar to carry-on style luggage.

Contents

The travel case is packed securely with compartments for all items needed to integrate a VR Training Experience.

Charging Station

The travel case can also be used as a charging station. Plug the powerstrip into the wall and then plug each USB-C cord into the headsets. This allows easy and compact charging of the headsets.

Headset and Hand-Controller

Headset and Hand-controller have been numbered to ensure that the equipment does not become mixed up when it is shared amongst students.

Headsets

The headsets are comfortable and intuitive.

Supplemental Materials

An Instructor Guide and Student Supplemental Material Booklets have been included to help support the learning experience. Be sure to review these prior to using the equipment.

Additional Materials

Non-Alcoholic wipes have been included to sanitize the headsets. Storage for the hand-controller batteries has also been included to prevent corrosion.

Training Experience without VR

If you wish to view the experience but don't want to use the equipment, you can view it using the web browser version below. Works on any computer, tablet, or smartphone. Chrome browser works well.
